Corporate Partners
Our Partnership Ethos
As a core Lions Initiative, Australian Lions Hearing Dogs receives ongoing support from Lions Australia and various Lions Clubs around the country. Many Clubs choose to independently support ALHD financially and vote to make contributions to the organisation annually. We are humbled by their ongoing support.
Specsavers Audiology is passionate about providing high quality and affordable hearing care to the community. With over 165 stores across Australia and continuing to grow, Specsavers Audiology has an ethos shared by ALHD of providing localised access to the best quality care for people struggling with hearing loss. ALHD couldn’t hope for a more aligned audiology partner. We are very proud to be sponsored by Specsavers Audiology as we expand our facilities over the coming years and provide even more Hearing Assistance Dogs to people in need around Australia.
BlackHawk is an integral partner to ALHD, providing a large part of highly-nutritious food required to keep our dogs in training fit and healthy (and even our resident cats!). Thanks to BlackHawk, we are able to feed our dogs high-quality food; we are incredibly grateful for their generosity.
Zoetis kindly provide preventative medications for all puppies and dogs in training, ensuring the safety and ongoing wellbeing of our dogs from ticks, fleas, and parasites. Zoetis work closely with our Assistance Dog programs to ensure the provision of Simparica Trio, Cazitel, and ProHeart products for our precious pooches.
Mt Barker Pet Care Centre are a crucial sponsor of ALHD, providing half of our dogs’ nutritional needs. As long-serving sponsors of ALHD, we are extremely thankful for their ongoing support to our dog program.
Reid Print are a local Adelaide Hills business and great supporter of Australian Lions Hearing Dogs. For many years, Reid Print have sponsored our pups-in-training, and owners Mike and Leanne have even taken some of our puppies into their own home as Foster Carers. Reid Print provide ALHD with sponsored printing packages to allow us to communicate our great work with the public.
Jarrett Motor Co. are another local business to the Adelaide Hills, and provide ALHD with not only cash contributions each year but support toward our work vehicles used for dog training. Jarretts have become a great friend of ALHD over the years and we are sincerely thankful for their ongoing support.
SA Power Networks’ Employee Foundation have been supporters of ALHD for the last three years, and their contribution focuses on our dog rescue program. Their support allows ALHD to adopt rescue dogs from other organisations and give them a second chance at life as a Hearing Assistance Dog.
Forerunner are a local computing and IT services business who support ALHD with website design and development, domain management, and other computing requirements to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. With their affordable services, ALHD are able to engage a high-quality service and solution for our digital needs.
Trusts & Foundations
As Australian Lions Hearing Dogs receive no Government funding for our vital services, we rely heavily on a diverse range of income to sustain the ongoing costs bared by us to raise, train, and place Hearing Assistance Dogs.
Many foundations and trusts across Australia have a passion and interest for funding organisations such as ours that focus on disability and animal welfare, something we are proud to provide our community with services for.
If you are the Office Bearer or Treasurer for a trust or foundation that is able to support Australian Lions Hearing Dogs, please get in touch to discuss how you might be able to support a project or program that is of interest to you. For a confidential discussion, please contact Alix Katala, Fundraising Manager on (08) 8388 7836 or email alix@lionshearingdogs.com.au.
