Puppy News
We are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of our first ever litter at Australian Lions Hearing Dogs.
Mum “Winnie”, an Australian Labradoodle, from Alpen Ridge Labradoodles gave birth to 7 healthy puppies on Friday the 17th of September and all puppies and mum are doing well.
With the need of our services ever increasing and the introduction of our new Medical Alert Dog Program we found that it is getting more difficult to source puppies or dogs, and costs are sky rocketing.
We were very fortunate that Winnie’s litter has been donated to us and we know the puppies will grow up to change many lives, for both the Hearing and Medical Alert Programs.
We have been working very closely with breeds over the last year to introduce broods into our breeding family, which will produce Assistance Dogs for the program in the future.
As always, we will still source dogs and puppies from rescue organisations and shelters, as suitable candidates for the program become available.
