From all of us here at Australian Lions Hearing Dogs, we would like to extend a big THANK YOU to every Lions Club, business and member of the public, that has been able to support us with donations in recent times.
We know it’s been a tough 18 months, but with 100% of our services funded by donations, our work could simply not continue without you. So far, in 2021, we have delivered 16 Hearing Assistance Dogs to people who are deaf or hard of hearing across Australia; 16 lives improved with our provision of Assistance Dogs.
Donations have also allowed us to further develop our Medical Alert Dog Program with our initial focus being on Diabetic Alert Dogs.
We are still on track to place our first dog in late 2022.
